According to MORE, a UAE Cabinet resolution on modifying the mechanism for achieving Emiratisation targets at private sector companies with more than 50 employees came into force.
The highlights of this new resolution are:
Emiratisation rate requirements became Semi-Annual.
Companies are required to achieve 1% of skilled jobs Emiratisation every 6 months, and total 2% annually.
Financial contributions on Non-compliant companies will be applied in July 2023.
